Kitsap Pride is excited to bring to the 2011 stage some great local talent. We’ve got a great new layout to encourage folks to dance and soak up sounds and sun. Plan to bring your chairs and blankets and enjoy the day. Thanks to Red Star for sponsoring the stage.
The stage viewing area is expanded this year with plenty of room to bring your blankets, chairs and shade umbrellas. You’ll want to plan to spend the day because we have a great line up this year on the Red Star Stage sponsorship of $1,000. Check out the schedule below.

1:30 – Mel Dalton is a Kitsap native whose warm and agile vocal talents have been appreciated in the area for fifteen years. She is currently playing in a duo called No Baggage, and can be found playing at gigs all over the county, from restaurants and bars to motorcycle dealerships and non-profit events. Mel’s style blends country, rock, and blues, and her repertoire ranges from Patsy Cline to Janis Joplin to Miranda Lambert, and many other places in between. She is proudly bisexual and looks forward every year to attending Kitsap Pride.

2:20 – Shawn (singer and dueling piano player at Chopstix in Queen Anne) playing your favorite tunes. Let him know what you want to hear and he’ll play it.

3:30 – The Kim Archer Band returns to the Kitsap Pride Stage! If ever there was a perfect match of natural vocal talent and commanding stage presence, it is found in Kim Archer. The soulful, natural tones that flow through her voice engage listeners and her smooth, passionate delivery evokes an energy that brings a crowd to their feet.
5:00 – Closing – Thank You!
9:00 – Red Star presents the Pride Party with DJ Flow (Resident disc jockey at R-Place in Seattle at the Bremerton Eagles located on 6th at Washington just a few blocks from Evergreen Park. They are expecting close to 400 people this year.
Also, thanks to Gordon Sound for sound and stage services over these years at Evergreen Park.
