Kitsap Pride is a festival celebrating the LGBTQ+ community in Kitsap County. This year our festival will feature two stages of entertainment including live music, a beer/cocktail garden, food vendors, 50 local exhibitors, Olympic College art project, and kids activities. Our location is beautiful Evergreen Park which has plenty of room for you to lay out a beach blanket and picnic on the grass.

Entertainment

This year we feature two stages of entertainment. The main stage located at the west end of the park has our headliner Tiffany Wilson, Chyeah Chyeah and Drag Queen Story Team as well as drag and musical performances and DJ music. The community stage located in the amphitheater has gender variety performances from Queerly Beloved, Drag 101, and St. John.

Food and Drink

All our food and drink options are at the west end of the park in view of the main stage.

Kitsap Pride Beer Garden – Beer on tap, wine, Tito’s Handmade Vodka mixed drinks and slushees, Rainier Beer, and more.

Mad Moose Pizza – Returning for their second year this crowd favorite bakes brick oven pizzas right in the park.

CJs Evergreen General Store – CJs will be grilling up hamburgers, veggies burgers, and more.

Egg Roll Hut – New this year serving egg rolls and noodles.

Sno Ryder – Nothing better than a snow cone on a hot summer day!

Special Features

Olympic College Art Contest – Members of the art program at Olympic College will present their completed projects on the theme of Pride in the park. View the sculptures and vote for your favorite!

Kids Activities – Kitsap Pride and members of the Girl Scouts have collaborated on some kids activities. In addition many of the exhibitors provide activities at their tents. And, Queerly Beloved is providing some introduction to performing in drag at the community stage at 11:00.

Free HIV Testing – Kitsap Pride has teamed with the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) and GayCity to bring free HIV testing to Evergreen Park. Come by early to get a free HIV test with results in just a couple minutes. They’ll be providing information about PrEP which can help prevent you from contracting HIV, free condoms and information about safer sex, and resources for people living with HIV in Kitsap County. Thank you to the Kitsap Public Health District for their assistance!

Directions

Evergreen Park is located at “1500 Park Ave, Bremerton”. The festival is at the south end of the park near the intersection of Pacific Ave and Sheldon Blvd.

Parking There is parking at Evergreen Park and throughout the surrounding neighborhood. Please reserve the lot at the end of Pacific Ave for those who need accessible parking.

Do not park in the areas reserved for boat trailers!

Olympic College Parking – Olympic College is providing parking at their campus off Warren Ave, a short walk from the park.

From the Ferry

Evergreen Park is located near the Bremerton Ferry Terminal with access from the Seattle/Bremerton auto ferry, fast passenger ferry, and the Port Orchard passenger ferry.

Walking – Head to the left out of the Bremerton Ferry Terminal straight up Pacific Ave about 10 blocks.

Driving – Go through the tunnel, turn right on Warren Ave. Turn right on 11th or 13th Ave or park at Olympic College.

Transit

Several Kitsap Transit buses serve Evergreen Park on Saturday. The #11 Crosstown Limited via the 15th/16th and Warren stops. And the #24 Olympic College via the Broadway and 16th stop.

Driving

Take the Kitsap Way exit off WA 3. At Warren Ave either turn left on Park Ave for the park and neighborhood parking or turn left on Warren Ave and find parking at Olympic College.
